Hi, I am Carol Ann Kelsey-Smith, LMT, Co-owner of Avenue
Massage Therapy Associates. Greenwich, CT is my home. I
have spent the last 15 years living in Greenwich, creating a
family and building my massage practice. My practice has
evolved paralleling my life. Initially my practice centered on
young mothers and mothers to be. Creating an oasis for them
to recharge and find relief from the physical and emotional
stress of creating new life and caring for it.
Curious by nature I continue to learn and grow. With my first
child on the way I embarked on a certification course in
Reflexology. Fascinated by the effect that just massaging my
clients' feet had on their state of being. Reflexology enables
me to deepen the effect. It is still and integral part of my
practice.
As my second child was on the way I studied the art of Sacred
Hot Stone Therapy, (Hot Stone massage with an Ayurvedic
twist). I included my oldest child in the search for the perfect
stones, as we vacationed in Block Island. All of the stones
used in my Hot Stone Therapy were collected on the beaches
of New England.
The last six years my education focus has been on the art of
Orthopedic massage. I am passionate about helping you find
lasting relief from your pain by facilitating pain free range of
motion.
Now that my children are a little older I am able to get back to
my passions for hiking, running, and tennis.
